2022 Beer Festivals

It’s the Festival Season! Here’s the list for 2022. Email us if you know of or have an event to add: beer@kansascitybeer.com. As some events draw closer, we will update with current information. Upcoming Events:

Sunday, September 18

  • 7:30am –Tour de Bier, Berkley Riverfront Park, 1298 River Front Dr, Kansas City, MO 64120 – Ever thought your waistline is going to regret a beer fest? The Tour de Bier takes you on a point-to-point bicycle tour of Kansas City’s breweries so no waistline regrets! It also takes you to brewing landmarks and you get to learn about the history of Kansas City brewing. $65

Friday & Saturday, September 23 & 24

  • 5pm-11pm Friday & 10am-11pm Saturday – Lee’s Summit Oktoberfest, Downtown Lee’s Summit, MO 64081 – Plenty to do including a homebrew competition. Overall event is free to attend but the homebrew competition requires you buy a $30 tasting glass.

Saturday, September 24

  • 12pm-5pm – Pint Path Fall Edition, North Kansas City, MO 64116 – Hit up all spots on the path for discounts and specials on beer, cocktails, food, and merchandise. Complete one of the paths for your chance to win prizes. $15
  • 12pm-6pm – Dwight Burnham Memorial Brewfest XXVI, Clinton State Park, 798 N 1415 Rd, Lawrence, KS 66049 – Great beer, music, and food! The Memorial Brewfest in its 26th year will have plenty of beer and also homebrewed soda for those not so into beer. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets.
  • Time TBD – Harry’s Brews & BBQ, Levi Garrison & Sons Brewing, 105 W Bird St, Hamilton, MO 64644 – Beer and barbecue go together pretty well so check out Harry’s Brews & BBQ in Hamilton, Missouri. Proceeds will go to the Hamilton Volunteer Fire Department.

Saturday, October 1

  • 12pm-8pm – Kearney’s 11th Annual Oktoberfest, Downtown Kearney, MO 64060 – Moving to a new location for their 11th year, it will be a full day of activities and events for you to enjoy. Proceeds go to three local charities. $5 per person.
  • 2pm-8pm – Midwest Animal ResQ BarQfest, Rice-Tremonti House, 8801 E 66th St, Raytown, MO 64133 – Second annual BarQfest is a fundraising event for Midwest Animal ResQ. Proceeds raised benefit the homeless animals cared for by the nonprofit organization. 30+ local vendors, food trucks, music, outdoor games, and a beer garden. Beer Garden VIP access 3pm-8pm, open to all ticketholders starting at 4pm.

Friday, October 7

  • 5pm-8pm – Brews & Bites, The Children’s Place, 6401 Rockhill Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131 – Fundraiser happy hour outdoor party with delicious samples of local food and drinks. Raffles, lively entertainment, and fun yard games.

Friday & Saturday, October 7 & 8

  • 5pm-11pm Friday, 11am-11pm Saturday – KC Oktoberfest, Crown Center, 2450 Grand Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108 – Kansas City’s largest traditional celebration of Bavarian-style bier, food, and music will be at Crown Center and presented by KC Bier Co. It’s modeled after the Munich Oktoberfest, so it should be a fun time with local food vendors, games and competitions, arts and wares, carnival rides, and bier!

Saturday, October 15

  • 11am-5pm – Hops & Horses: Oktoberfest, Happy Basset Brewing Co, 510 SW 49th St, Topeka, KS 66609 – Fundraising event for Hope and Healing Academy with German beer and food, lawn games and competitions, live music, raffles and prizes, and Clydesdales. $25, $10
  • 6:30pm-9:30pm – Brew at the Zoo Kansas City, Kansas City Zoo, 6800 Zoo Dr, Kansas City, MO 64132 – Adults-only evening with beer and food and animals, oh my! $40 FOTZ, $50 Non-FOTZ

Saturday, October 22

  • 3pm-9pm – Haunted Hop Luck, Sar Ko Park, 14915 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66215 – If you’re a paid member in a local homebrew club, you’re invited to this inter-club get together. Bring beers, food, and games and enjoy the company of fellow homebrewers.

  • Blarney Brew Off, 204 SW Market St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063 –  Over 100 homebrewed beers will be available for you to try.
  • Flint Hills Beer Fest, Blue Earth Plaza, 3rd & Colorado, Manhattan, KS 66502 – Beer sampling from over 25 breweries and proceeds go to a local charity. There will also be live music, food trucks, and some vendors to explore.
  • KC Brew & Chew, East Forty Brewing, 1201 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015 – Downtown Blue Springs will be the place for this festival. It’s a free festival but you must have a ticket for the craft beer sampling from 2pm until 6pm. $20 Craft Beer Sampling Ticket
  • Strother Brewfest, Downtown Lee’s Summit, SE Main St, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063 – Limited release beers, world class breweries, and unlimited pours. Proceeds donated to local non profits.
  • Botanical Brewfest, Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Garden, 8909 W 179th St, Overland Park, KS 66085 – Beers from over 40 breweries with over 100 beers for tasting, food, music, games, and fun.

Saturday, January 29

  • 12pm-4pm, 5pm-8pm – KC Brew Fest, Union Station, 30 W Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO 64108 – Dozens of craft and international breweries, as well as local breweries will serve their beers at historic Union Station. $65 VIP, $50 GA
  • 12pm-4pm – THE BEER FEST, Wichita Brewing Co & Pizzeria, 727 Osie St, Wichita, KS 67211 – Lots of great beers from all over the Midwest to try. Raise money for mental health clinics in the Wichita area. Only 300 tickets available. $65 with custom Teku glass

Saturday, March 12

  • All Day – Snake Saturday, North Kansas City – Celebrate chasing snakes out of Ireland in the wonderful city of North Kansas City! There are 5 breweries, a distillery, and several bars partying it up today. Check out our Snake Saturday page for more information. Parade is free but breweries and bars may be charging a cover fee.
  • 12pm-3pm, 4:30pm-7:30pm – Kansas Craft Brewers Expo, Abe and Jake’s Landing, 8 E 6th St, Lawrence, KS 66044 – Are you an early bird or prefer later in the day? You’ll get to choose at the Kansas Craft Brewers Expo. Choose from two sessions and taste beer from several breweries. Proof of vaccination will be required. Tickets on sale Saturday, January 29.

Saturday, April 02

  • 4pm-8pm – Spring Fling Beer Fest, iWerx, 1520 Clay St, North Kansas City, MO 64116 – This intimate yet highly-attended event will raise money for charity and offer samples of locally made beer, wine, and mead. $30 GA advanced, $40 GA at the door, $10 DD
  • 1pm-4pm – Bar K Beer Fest, Bar K, 501 Berkley Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64120 – Beers and dogs! Local craft and national breweries will be pouring their beers while you and your pup enjoy the atmosphere at Bar K. $35/$45 GA, $50/$65 VIP

Thursday, April 07

  • 6pm-8pm – Brew Bash, Chicken N Pickle, 1761 Burlington St, North Kansas City, MO 64116 – A mid-week beer fest with just the right amount of beer. Join Chicken N Pickle for this beer tasting event benefiting Feed Northland Kids. Get a CNP souvenir cup, steak fajita tacos, and beer tastings! $25

Saturday, April 09

  • 12pm-5pm – Pint Path Spring Edition, North Kansas City, MO 64116 – Hit up all spots on the path for discounts and specials on beer, cocktails, food, and merchandise. Complete one of the six paths for your chance to win prizes. $15

Saturday, April 30

  • 11am-5pm – Kegs ‘N’ Eggs, Renaissance Festival Grounds, Bonner Springs, KS 66012 – Go egg hunting with fellow beer lovers and get some cool prizes. There will be live music, beer samples, and food available. Pre-party starts at 11am with the egg hunt starting at 1pm. $45 GA, $15 DD
  • 1pm-5pm – Parkville Microbrew Fest, English Landing Park, Parkville, MO 64152 – Rain or shine! This festival is notorious for its rainy days but let’s keep our fingers crossed! The fest will have handcrafted ales from over 80 breweries including several homebrew clubs, live music, and great food in Historic Downtown Parkville. Admission opens at 11am and beer sampling starts at 1pm. Saturday, May 7

  • 6pm-10pm – KC Summer Brew Fest, Arrowhead Stadium, 1 Arrowhead Dr, Kansas City, MO 64129 – A beer festival at Arrowhead Stadium with over 60 breweries and 150 beers. It’s a rare opportunity to party on the playing field. VIP and Early admission will include an added hour (6pm to 7pm). Tickets on sale February.

Saturday, May 21

  • 1pm-5pm – Missouri Beer Festival, Cooper’s Landing Campgrounds & Marina, 11505 Smith Hatchery Rd, Columbia, MO 65203 – At this annual mid-state beer fest in its 12th year, enjoy unlimited craft beer sampling. Live music and food trucks. $30

Saturday, June 4

  • 12pm-4pm – Ales West, Felix Street Square, Downtown St. Joseph, MO 64506 – Northwest Missouri’s only Nano/Micro/Macro/Home/Commercial brewing festival so you’ll have lots of beers to try. $30 GA, $50 VIP
  • 2pm-4pm – Strang Hall Second Annual Beer FestStrang Hall, 7313 W 80th St, Overland Park, KS 66204 – Booze, bites, and live music! Explore Strang Hall while sampling local and national beers. $60
  • 4pm-9pm – Wine and Brew Walk, The Independence Square, 113 W Lexington Ave, Independence, MO 64050 – Stroll historic districts while sampling beer, wine, and spirits. VIP starts at 4pm, GA starts at 5pm. $40 VIP, $25 GA, $30 Day Of

  • 2:30pm-7pm – Tap That Topeka, 800-900 Blocks of Kansas Ave, Downtown Topeka, KS 66603 – Self proclaimed “largest beer fest in the Midwest”, sample from a selection of hundreds of beer spanning multiple city blocks. $75 VIP, $40 GA, $20 VIP DD, $10 DD, Tickets go up $10 at the door

Friday & Saturday, June 17 & 18

  • 4pm-11pm Friday, 11am-11pm Saturday – Boulevardia, Crown Center, 2450 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108 – A new location for Boulevardia after a hiatus. The beer and music festival will take over Crown Center. Ticket prices vary.

Saturday, July 30

  • 2pm – Rodney Beagle Beer Jamboree, Five a Day Farm and Event Space, 9475 W Highway 116, Gower, MO 64454 – Celebrate Rodney Beagle with beer! Homebrewers and professional brewers have donated kegs, bottles, and cans of beer to raise money to give to the Beagle Pups (Rodney’s kids). The space has a lot of acreage and a metal building event space. Camping overnight is welcome and encouraged.

Saturday, August 20

  • 11am-4pm – Home Brew Competition & BBQ, Excelsior Springs Memorial Airport, 1203 E Golf Dr, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024 – Help judge the best homebrewed beers at the 2nd annual competition. Limited number of tickets available.
  • 1pm-5pm – Dog Days of Summer Craft Beer Crawl, Historic Downtown Liberty, 118 N Main St, Suite C, Liberty, MO 64068 – The 11th Annual Dog Days of Summer Craft Beer Crawl will have you sampling 20+ beers as you walk through downtown Liberty. $30 GA, $40 Day Of
