First First Friday

Craft lovers are in for a treat during this month’s First Friday.  This will be the first First Friday for Border Brewing Co and they want to kick it off right.  They will be joined by Pie Hole, a food truck that serves Aussie Meat Pies, and will have their first guest taps from Torn Label Brewing Company.

If you have never been to a First Friday, today would be a great introduction to the monthly event.  On the first Friday of each month, Crossroads’ art galleries, studios, restaurants, and breweries open their doors to showcase local and national artists.  It’s an evening of art entertainment where people can take in the culture, company of others, and check out new (and old) businesses.  For more information on all of the places participating click here.

Border Brewing Co is located at 406 East 18th Street and will be hosting their part of First Friday from 4pm until 9pm tonight.

If you want some more entertainment on another Crossroads establishment’s first First Friday, walk a couple of blocks to Screenland Crossroads Tapcade.  They’ll have Mortal Kombat 2, Smash TV, and Dig Dug added to their $5 all-you-can-play arcade.  They open from 11am until midnight and are located at 1701 McGee, Suite 200.
