Fringe Beerworks Cotton Candy Ale Brew Day with Beagle Brewing and KCTV5 Friday Night Flights Interview

Cotton Candy in a beer? When you’re as creative as Mark Myers , Head Brewer at Fringe Beerworks, and Rodney Beagle, KC’s Gypsy Brewer, you can make almost anything taste good. While this was only a test run, as they were having some electrical issues, it was good practice and a good display for KCTV5’s Brad Stephens. The local news anchor does a weekly segment called Friday Night Flights. The segment focuses on area breweries, distilleries, and bars. Past subjects include Crane Brewing and brewery Emperial and this week’s will be Stockyards Brewing with the Fringe Beerworks segment airing on Friday, April 5.

Fringe Beerworks will be brewing the Cotton Candy Milkshake IPA on March 27, and having an open watch party. The beer goes along with the fun, carnival theme of the brewery. Circus peanuts, bearded ladies, and fortune tellers decorate the walls of the downtown Lee’s Summit brewery and bartender, Roe, adds fun and cheeriness that can be rare to find. Welcome to the show, as they say, it’s more fun than sitting at home.

Fringe Beerworks is located at 224 SE Douglas Street, Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and opened in January 2017, by Eddie Pease and Mark Myers. They have a Maine Beer Company Tap Takeover tonight (March 27) at 6pm, live music on March 28 from Readhouse, and have Sunday Funday Crowlers Sales every Sunday. For more information, visit their website www.fringbeerworks.com and follow them on social media.
