Snake Saturday 2019

Snake Saturday is going to Rock the Blarney this year, so here are the events with starting times for the beer places and others. The parade begins at 11am with activities throughout North Kansas City before and after. Most of the links are Facebook.

7am – NKCFD 1815 Howell St – The North Kansas City Fire Department will be hosting a pancake breakfast until 11am. Pancakes will be served by Chris Cakes. Tickets are $8, children 5 and under are free.

8am – Big Rip Brewing 216 E 9th Ave – Live music, food, two special beers (Anti-grabber Irish Red Ale and Bohemian Pilsner in collaboration with Green Room Burgers & Beer). Breakfast is pancakes and sausage and BBQ for lunch until they close. No cover all day.

8am – Repeal 18th 1825 Buchanan – Drink specials, food specials, and live music. $5 cover.

8am – Depot Saloon & BBQ 2702 N Bell St – Breakfast buffet and then corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and a biscuit for lunch. Drink and shot specials all day.

9am – Callsign Brewing 1447 Gentry St – For their first Snake Saturday open, Callsign Brewing will have live music, beer releases, new beertails, and green beer. They will be releasing their Kilbride Camp Rye IPA and W.A.S.P. Breakfast Waffle Ale (only one keg of this one). No cover all day.

9am – Velo Garage and Tap House 1403 Swift Ave – Specials on yard beers and craft beers.

9am – The Brewkery 1443 Swift Ave – Biscuits & Gravy and Green Shamrock Booch, plus a bigger selection of beers.

9am – Grain to Glass 1611 Swift Ave – One of the best spots on the parade route with a closed off parking lot to have a party. Irish beers on tap along with Irish coffee, and Jameson. Food menu includes corned beef & cabbage, fries, and brownies. $5 cover.

9am – Cinder Block Brewery 110 E 18th St – Live music starting at 11:30am, specialty Irish food menu, and drink specials. $3 cover or $10 cover and a custom green color changing cup.

9am – Mitch e Amaro 306 Armour Rd – The brand new cocktail supply store and bar is right on the parade route. They’ll have specials on drinks and bottles.

9am – Vapor Loft KC 310 Armour Rd -Discounts on certain items, drawings for prizes, and beer on tap for customers of age.

9am – Colony KC 312 Armour Rd – Live music, Irish pub grub, beer, Irish cocktails, coffee specials. $5 cover.

9am – Paul & Jack’s Tavern 1808 Clay St – Green beers, jello shots, and other specials.

10am – Restless Spirits Distilling 109 E 18th Ave – Coffee and donuts in the parking lot before the parade; brats, hot dogs, chips, and other refreshments starting at 11:30am; live music at noon. $10 cover includes a tasting of 3 spirits or a sample cocktail. For an extra $5 you can take a tour of their production space.
