2022 Snake Saturday

Snake Saturday has been held (almost) every year since 1983, in North Kansas City on the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day. Events include the parade, a carnival, and several parties and specials at local bars, distilleries, and breweries.

The day has always been a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick chasing the snakes out of Ireland and generate exposure and donations to benefit local non-profit organizations. It’s even bigger and better now with the wide variety of bars and breweries. Since 2013, five breweries have opened in North Kansas City along with many other beer-related places.

Follow Snake Saturday on social media so you can see updates and find out how you can get involved. Then, check out pictures below from the parade and places celebrating. The parade starts at 11am at 14th & Swift.
